About
Changing Lanes Africa (CLA) creates and facilitates opportunities that empower and develop young women that fall into the NEET category. We provide pyschosocial development workshops, self-awareness incubators, and EQ accelerators. Our programs focus on developing:

Intelligence Quotient (IQ): Level of comprehension, the ability to solve maths (i.e., being solution orientated), memorize things, and recall lessons.
Emotional Quotient (EQ): Ability to maintain peace with others, keep to time, be responsible, be honest, respect boundaries, be humble, genuine, and considerate.
Social Quotient (SQ): Ability to build a network of friends and maintain it over a long period.

The Adversity Quotient (AQ): Ability to go through a rough patch in life and come out of it without losing one’s balance and peace. When faced with troubles, AQ determines who will give up, who will abandon their family, and who will consider suicide.

Did you know?

People with higher EQ, SQ and, AQ tend to go further in life than those with a high IQ but low EQ, SQ, and AQ. Most schools and skills development programs focus on improving IQ levels while EQ and SQ are played down.
A person of high IQ can be employed by a person of high EQ, SQ, and AQ even though having an average IQ. An EQ represents one's character, while the SQ represents charisma and AQ represents ones level of resilence.

We believe in bringing awareness and being intentional about all areas of life than just academics or skills development. By developing the IQ and their EQ, SQ, and AQ, of young women they bound to become multifaceted human beings, able to do things independently. We also cover understanding and managing the 8 dimensions of wellness for community balance and wholeness.
